Mission
The mission of Faith Alive USA, Inc. is to help transform the lives of the poor, vulnerable and sick in Nigeria, primarily by:
• Conducting educational outreach in the United States on the current health conditions in Nigeria and how support and action from people in the United States can make a difference.
• Providing monetary and in-kind support for programs that provide free, holistic health care and compassionate social services to the people of Nigeria.
• Working closely with Faith Alive Foundation, a non-governmental non-profit organization in Jos, Nigeria.

Chris practiced Medicine for over 30 years, 25 of them at Kaiser Permanente with The Permanente Medical Group in the Sacramento area of California. He retired in 2019. Hewas a primary care physician and loved his patients and practice. Chris also served in a variety of leadership roles. He was the Physician-in-Chief of the Roseville Medical Center for over 13 years, which cares for over 300,000 Kaiser members. He also served on The Permanente Medical Group’s board of directors for 20 years and was board chair for 5 years before retiring. Medicine and leadership have been the avenues that God has opened for him to serve other people.
Chris joined the Faith Alive Board in 2025. He has traveled to Jos Nigeria and Faith Alive twice. Chris has served on the Agape International Missions (AIM) board since 2019 and as board chair for the last three years. AIM is a Christian nonprofit working to abolish sex trafficking.
Chris is blessed with a wonderful wife of 34 years and two adult children. His daughter is an Ob/Gyn resident at UCSF-Fresno and his son is an Army officer stationed in South Korea. In his free time, he is pursuing a master’s degree in theology at Fuller Theological Seminary.
